Cari
amici, questo non è un annuncio che avremmo voluto scrivere più; un anno fa ci
siamo dati appuntamento a quest’anno con la speranza che quei troppi metri che avremmo
dovuto mettere fra di noi, non sarebbero più stati necessari. Che il mondo
sarebbe potuto tornare normale.
Abbiamo
passato gli scorsi mesi a valutare tutte lo opzioni per organizzare un Monte
San Savino accettabile: le regole, le limitazioni, le possibilità.
Ma
alla fine la realtà è che abbiamo dovuto accettare che purtroppo non ci sono
ancora le condizioni per potervi dare il Monte che vi meritate.
Noi viviamo Monte San Savino
come un evento comunitario che ogni anno permette al nostro mondo di
incontrarsi, condividere arte e buonumore, convivialità e passione.
Un anno fa scrivemmo che non avremmo mai voluto immaginare di dover stare a un
metro da voi, e questo vale ancora oggi.
Non
sappiamo come le cose cambieranno nel 2022; se davvero ci permetteranno di
tornare a vivere completamente, ma siamo fiduciosi che saranno comunque
migliori quel tanto che basta per permetterci di tornare di nuovo insieme a
varcare la porta del Monte e salire insieme le scale del Cassero.
La prossima edizione del Monte sarà il 15esimo anniversario della nostra
mostra, lo festeggeremo insieme, festeggiando anche, ne siamo certi, la fine
dell’anno che segnerà il ritorno degli eventi, della vita.
Abbiamo
tante idee, lavoreremo giorno dopo giorno per realizzare qualcosa di grande e
se voi, come siamo certi, sarete con noi, daremo vita a un Monte
indimenticabile, che profumi di un nuovo inizio, proiettato verso il futuro.
Vi diamo però una notizia
importante.
Nei giorni che avrebbero
dovuto essere del Monte, 12-13-14 Novembre 2021, realizzeremo per voi un evento
online celebrativo a cui sarete invitati a partecipare: per parlare di
miniature, arte, della storia del Monte e del Futuro, insieme ad ospiti
importanti.
Questo non ci ridarà il nostro concorso, né lenirà la ferità che la sua assenza
provoca, ma sarà un modo per passare del tempo insieme, raccontandoci delle
cose belle che abbiamo fatto e soprattutto di quelle che faremo.
Una regola che il Nostro evento ha sempre applicato di prendersi cura delle
persone prima che dei soldatini: quest’anno avremmo potuto assicurare con
facilità la seconda, ma non sufficientemente la prima.
E
le persone per noi sono il Monte, Voi lo siete.
Vi aspettiamo, con le braccia aperte, sperando di poterle usare per
abbracciarci di nuovo, senza impedimenti, nel 2022.
Ci saremo, ci sarete.

Dear friends, this
is not an announcement we would have liked to write again; a year ago we
decided to wait for 2021 with the hope that those too many meters that we would
have had to put between us would no longer be necessary. That the world could
go back to normal.
We have spent the
past few months evaluating all the options for organizing an acceptable Monte
San Savino: the rules, the limitations, the possibilities.
But in the end the
reality is that we had to accept that unfortunately the conditions are not yet
in place to be able to give you the Monte you deserve.
We live Monte San Savino as a community event that
every year allows our world to meet, share art and good humor, conviviality and
passion.
A year ago we
wrote that we never wanted to imagine having to stay within one meter from you,
and this still applies today.
We don't know how
things will change in 2022; if they will really allow us to go back to life
completely, but we are confident that they will still be better enough to allow
us to come back together again to cross the door of the Monte and climb the
Cassero stairs together.
The next edition
of Monte will be the 15th anniversary of our exhibition, we will celebrate it
together, also celebrating, we are sure, the end of the year that will mark the
return of events, of life.
We have many
ideas, we will work day after day to achieve something great and if you, as we
are sure, will be with us, we will give life to an unforgettable event, which
smells of a new beginning, projected towards the future.
However, we give you some important news.
In the days that should
have been Monte, 12-13-14 November 2021, we will create a celebratory online
event for you to which you will be invited to participate: to talk about
miniatures, art, the history of Monte and the Future, together with important
guests .
This will not give
us back our competition, nor will it alleviate the wound that its absence
causes, but it will be a way to spend time together, telling us about the
beautiful things we have done and above all the ones we will do.
A rule that our
event has always applied is to take care of people rather than figures: this
year we could have easily ensured the second, but not the first sufficiently.
And the people for us is Monte, you are.
We are waiting for
you, with open arms, hoping to be able to use them to embrace again, without
hindrance, in 2022.
