Charity kit for the Decennial

 Vi presentiamo una collaborazione tra MuMi (museo della miniatura) - Big Child ed il Monte San Savino Show per onorare il Decennale della mostra-concorso e per fare beneficenza.
Il kit dell'orco dal design piratesco in 75mm è stato prodotto in solo 100 esemplari e non sarà ristampato.

an unforgettable edition

 ...e mentre le luci dello show a poco a poco si affievoliscono nella memoria, rimangono i ricordi delle goliardate, dei sorrisi, delle battute, degli scherzi, delle bevute.....l'atmosfera è facile da ricreare, basta ritornare con il pensiero a quei momenti.

...ormai sono tutti ritornati alla quotidianità, solo io rimango ancora aggrappato a quei giorni dove non ho avuto il tempo di salutare neppure gli amici di sempre....c'è ancora molto da fare per chiudere tutti i conti e le pendenze.

Spero vivamente che le fatiche di tutti Noi della G.A.St.Art., di Francesco, Elisa e Fabio, di tutto il club Fotografico "Il Sansovino", dei club gemellati GMA Bolzano e Lugdunum di Lyon, dei commercianti locali, delle ditte del settore presenti e della fiducia accordataci dal Sindaco Margherita Scarpellini e, dei patrocinatori la Provincia di Arezzo e la Regione Toscana, non siano state vane.....spero che abbiate portato indietro con voi un pezzo di questo luogo con tutte le sensazioni che vi hanno pervaso nei giorni passati insieme.....(oltre a qualche kiletto in più)

Quest'anno si è realizzata un'idea partita da molto lontano; mi sono commosso nel leggere tutti i vari commenti e reportage....quante analisi, quanti occhi puntati addosso, quanti consigli,  quanto voler capire l'alchimia ...la formula....il perchè, quanto plauso....questo per aver unicamente realizzato il concorso a cui tutti nel nostro profondo avremmo voluto partecipare...ho soltanto realizzato un pensiero trasformandolo in realtà, credendo che tutti avrebbero alla fine capito......ed è successo;

per questo mi inchino a Voi vincitori, ma in special modo ai non vincitori del concorso, a tutti coloro che vengono senza miniature per incontrare gli amici, per parlare dell'hobby che amano, siete voi l'anima trainante degli sforzi fatti, è per tutti voi che vi sono persone che lavorano un anno intero....mi unisco quindi a tutti facendo i miei personali complimenti ai realizzatori delle opere in miniatura più strabilianti che si siano mai viste, ai giudici di quest'anno che le hanno dovute guardare e giudicare agli special guest tutti, a John Rosengrant una persona...un uomo come pochi ve ne sono; ringrazio la mia sfrontatezza che mi ha permesso di invitarlo e confido nella fortuna, che sono sicuro mi darà la possibilità di averlo nuovamente tra di Noi.

Anche se come sempre usciamo stanchi morti da quest'avventura, se riparliamo delle cose da migliorare, di quanto è accaduto, degli aneddoti e dei personaggi, credo senza falsa modestia, ed in questo non me ne vorrà Francesco se dico che parlo anche a nome suo, è uno degli show a cui vorremmo veramente poter partecipare.

Grazie a tutti... siete stati FENOMENALI......

 ...and whilst the lights of the show fade in our memory, what remains are all the memories about jokes, smiles, gags, drinks... the mood is easy to call back if we return to those moments in our mind. 

now everyone is back home, I am the only one still stuck to the days when I had no time to say hello even to old friends... gotta still do so many things  to arrange all arreals.

I do hope our efforts (as G.A.St.Art., Francesco, Elisa and Fabio, "Il Sansovino" photoclub,  GMA Bolzano and Lugdunum twin clubs, local and model enterprises) and the faith given bu the Major Mrs Margherita Scarpellini and our sponsors Provincia di Arezzo and Regione Toscana, have not been vane.... Hope you all have carried with you a tiny piece of this place and all the feelings you gained in these past days (gaining also some kilos I guess!)

This year we have brought to truth an idea that came from very far away; I felt touched while reading all your comments and reportages... so many anylisis, so many glances on us, advices, efforts to undestand the alchemy... the magic composition... the  why... so much plause... and just for simply setting the contest we all deeply wish to join. I have just made a thought come true, wishing everyone should understand... and they did;

for this reason I curtsey in front of you winners, but most of all to those who didn't win, to the one who joined us with no minis for the competition but just to meet friends and chat about the hobby they love; YOU are the inner core worth of all our efforts, you are the reason why someone works for a whole year... so I join each and every positive comment and congratulate with all the creators of the best minis ever seen, with the jury that had the trouble to choose some of your marvels, with our special guests, with John Rosengrant - a man you hardly find - and I thank my brass that led me to invite him, hoping to have a chance to invite him again.
Though tired and half-dead, if we consider things that have to get better and solved, what happened, stories and characters, I can state for certain - and please Francesco let me talk for you too - this MSS is one of the contests we both would like to compete in.

A brevissimo, potremo parlarvi di un interessante progetto che coinvolgerà il MSSshow e tutta la Regione Toscana, modellisticamente e non.
Scaldate i motori, o meglio, mettete in carica gli smartphone, perché sta per arrivare un challenge coi fiocchi!

 Very, very soon you will be told about an interesting project involving MSSshow and the whole Tuscany (scale modellers and not).
Warm up your guns, or better, recharge your smartphones, because a spectacular challenge is going to arrive!
