A Monte S.Savino in Mostra l’arte di realizzare miniature Storiche e
Fantasy
Provenienti da tutte le parti del mondo, ormai da 9 anni si danno
appuntamento nel piccolo borgo medievale i più bravi realizzatori dei cosiddetti
“figurini Storici e miniature Fantasy”. Scultori e Pittori di questo micro-mondo
vengono e riempiono quest’angolo di Toscana attratti da una kermesse che ha
alla base la passione per la pittura e la scultura e la riproduzione in
miniatura."

Anche per quest’anno, che ormai è agli sgoccioli, il Cassero di
Monte San Savino ha ospitato le nostre piccole opere; sono quindi riecheggiati all’interno delle antiche mura gli spari ed i gridi di battaglia, le urla degli
ordini, il fragore degli scontri, il sibilare dei laser, il riecheggiare di
inumani richiami… insomma tutto quello che nasce nell’immaginario di ognuno di
noi quando affrontiamo la pittura o la scultura di una miniatura; la nostra
mente vaga e si immedesima… rivive con la miniatura la sua epopea, la colloca
nel suo scenario e gli ricostruisce attorno tutto quello che è, che è stato e
che sarà.
Ecco, credo che sia questo il nostro punto di forza, il nostro punto
d’unione: l’IMMAGINAZIONE, la malta coesiva dalla quale, da entrambi le parti e
con le proprie oggettive diversità, nessuno può prescindere. Naturalmente è
utopico pensare di riuscire a dare una valutazione ad una cosa così astratta… quindi noi ci limitiamo a provare a valutare il modo in cui ognuno lo
esprime attraverso le proprie realizzazioni, il tutto con le immancabili
limitazioni umane, attraverso la propria esperienza ed il proprio gusto.
Nel ringraziarvi quindi della fiducia che ci accordate ogni anno
partecipando alla manifestazione, vi esprimiamo la volontà perenne di cercare di
migliorare e di plasmare il concorso, di volta in volta, seguendo le esigenze
che si prospettano e che riusciamo a percepire e dandovi appuntamento al 2015
con quella che sarà la decima edizione internazionale dello Show... quindi un evento con veramente tante sorprese sia a
livello concorsuale che a livello ludico.

For this (nearly finished) year, the Cassero of Monte San Savino welcomed our little terasures; gunshots and battle cries, orders, the clash of arms, the hiss of the lasers, some echo from inhuman rallying cries... all that comes from our imagination as we face a sculpture or a painting work; our mind goes away and empathizes... we live the adventure lived by that character, put it in his own scenery and time and build around the mini all its past, present and future.
That's it: I guess what our cohesive strong point is: IMAGINATION, the glue that sticks us even in our many differences, without any reasonable doubt. The will to evaluate an abstract thing such this in an objective and unquestionable way is obviously an absurd hope... so at least we only have to chance to try to accept our human limitations and our different points of view while we judge the way modellers express their ideas thru their works.
While thanking you all for the faith you give us each year joining the competition, we state that we just want to improve our skills so that we can prepare the show, year after year, according to the needs and expectations you express to us.
Our next date is in 2015, for the TENTH international edition of the show... just imagine it as a weekend full of news, for both contest and "collateral" events.
